Can Cota Suites & Spa was built at the end of the 19th century. Originally it was the family residence of the Sastre Font sisters, who were known as the “Cotas”. These women played an important role in promoting the folk culture of Mallorca.
They founded the folk dance group Aires de Muntanya, one of the most emblematic cultural symbols of Selva.
The commanding location of Can Cota Suites & Spa in the upper part of Selva allows all the rooms to face south and have spectacular views over the island of Mallorca and the Bay of Alcudia.
More recent refurbishments have adapted the hotel to modern times. It has a swimming pool, wine cellar, spa and indoor squash court. Can Cota offers comfort and modernity whilst preserving its history.
